Residents of 5+ unit multifamily residences in Massachusetts, who meet Mass Save’s qualification criteria, are eligible for the $1,250/per ton rebate up to $10,000. As with single family residents, if you plan to keep your existing system you will be required to install integrated controls between your new heat pump and your existing fossil fuel system.

While there is not a specific whole-home rebate available for these 5+ multifamily residences, you can still displace your entire existing fossil fuel system with heat pumps and be eligible for the $1,250/per ton rebate up to $10,000.
